Let a team of talented international business students help you improve your organization! Think about receiving advice on how to deal with change, improve leadership, better integrating new business processes, etc.
The team will provide you with relevant insights and hands-on recommendations.
In this challenge, third year bachelor students work on providing practical business advice with the aim of improving your organization. The recommendations will be practically relevant and supported by collected data and relevant (academic) literature. They will receive training and guidance by lecturers from Amsterdam School of International Business.

Program: International Business - Organisation, Leadership And Change (3rd year Major)
Course: Organization, Leadership, and Change (OLC) Consultancy Lab
Students per team: 4-5 students
No. of hours spent per team: 200 hours
Duration: Februari - May
Supervision: Student teams are supervised and guided by senior lecturers.
Deliverables: Presentation and report (in the form of slides) with recommendations.
Company time investment: 8-12 hours in total (e.g. kick-off meeting, weekly meetings, final presentation, etc.)
Costs (when matched to a team):
For-profit organizations: €750,- (ex tax, charged by Master Challenge (NOT the university)).

The student teams can work on challenges like, but not limited to, the following:
Identify and address communication gaps within a team or between departments, aiming to improve overall organizational transparency.
Develop strategies to boost team morale and motivation, focusing on enhancing leadership practices that contribute to a positive work environment.
Create approaches for resolving interpersonal conflicts within a team, promoting effective leadership techniques to manage and prevent conflicts.
Develop strategies to manage and guide employees through a cultural shift, such as changes in values, mission, or work practices, fostering a positive reception to change.
🏢 Company requirement
Any company (startup/scale-up/corporate/incubator/NGO) with at least two founders/employees working full time in the company.
💰 Costs
To help facilitate this challenge we charge a matching fee of €750,- (ex tax).

January 30: Deadline for submitting your challenge
January 30 (or sooner): Receiving message if your challenge is approved by the Course Coordinator
February 12 till 14: Matching phase (in case you use our matching feature)
February 14: Our matching algorithm will create perfect matches (in case you use our matching feature)
February 17-21: Kick-off meeting with your team
May 19 till May 30: Final presentations in time slots of 45 minutes (after you are matched to a team, we will schedule the time slots).

We will use your input to form well-balanced teams. We will notify you about your team on February 5.
Once you are assigned to a team, get together (offline or online) with your team asap, to discuss which challenges you want to work on and why, and submit this selection. Deadline is February 7.This will happen next 👇
Subsequently, the participating organizations will rank the teams that want to work on their challenge on February 12.
Finally, our platform will generate and share the team-challenge matches on February 14.
Once you're matched to a challenge, schedule a kick-off meeting with the company representative on February 17-21 (or sooner if you're feeling ambitious). (☝️Use this template). Make sure to prepare for this meeting (e.g. read about the company and the contact person, draft and share an agenda, formulate questions, etc.).
