During the Venture Challenge a team of Master Entrepreneurship students will solve your entrepreneurial challenges such as testing new value propositions, exploring new markets, scaling up, or boosting entrepreneurship within corporates.
The teams will come up with practically relevant solutions and an implementation plan related to your entrepreneurial challenges, such as testing new value propositions, exploring new markets, scaling up, corporate entrepreneurship, etc.

No. of hours spent per team: 160 hours x number of team members
Duration: January 4 – January 31, 2026
Supervision: Student teams are supervised and guided by lecturers.
Deliverables: Management presentation and report (in the form of slides) with recommendations and an implementation plan.
Company time investment: 12-20 hours (e.g. kick-off meeting, weekly meetings, attending final presentation)

The student teams can work on challenges like, but not limited to, the following:
Validating new value propositions
Exploring new markets or customer segments
Developing a funding strategy
Helping with scaling up
Boosting entrepreneurship within corporates
🏢 Company requirement
Any company (startup/scale-up/corporate/incubator/NGO) with at least two founders/employees working full time in the company.
In business for at least 6 months.
📨 How to apply
You can submit the challenge directly through the website. Provide a title that summarises the challenge. Subsequently, briefly elaborate on your challenge. November 16: Deadline for submitting your challenge
November 30 (or sooner): Receiving message if your challenge is approved by the Course Coordinator
December 14-19: Matching phase
December 14: Student teams will choose 5 challenges they want to work on.
December 18: Company representatives will receive a list of student teams that want to work on their challenge (if any), and can 'rank' those teams.
December 19/20: Our matching algorithm will create perfect matches.
January 4-5 (or sooner): Kick-off meeting with your team
January 30 or 31, 9:00 – 17:00: Final presentations in time slots of 30 minutes (after you are matched to a team, we will schedule the time slots)

Make sure to completely finish your registration by Dec 17. Incomplete profiles will not be taken into account.
This will happen next 👇
We will use your input to form well-balanced teams. We will notify you about your team on December 18.
Once you are assigned to a team, get together (offline or online) with your team asap, to discuss which challenges you want to work on and why, and submit this selection. Deadline is December 19.
Subsequently, the participating organizations will rank the teams that want to work on their challenge on December 22.
Finally, our platform will generate and share the team-challenge matches on December 23 or 24.
Once you're matched to a challenge, schedule a kick-off meeting with the company representative on January 5-6 (or sooner if you're feeling ambitious). (☝️Use this template). Make sure to prepare for this meeting (e.g. read about the company and the contact person, draft and share an agenda, formulate questions, etc.).
